Casella Waste Nets $42.4 Million from Stock Sale

Casella Waste Systems Inc. has received $42.4 million from its recent sale of 11.5 million shares of common stock.

The Rutland, Vt.-based Casella sold the shares at $4 per share, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The sale comprised an initial offering of 10 million shares and an additional 1.5 million sold from the exercise of the underwriters’ over-allotment option.

The offering began Sept. 28 and ended Oct. 3.
