Highlight Networks Opens Electronic Waste Recycling Unit

Highlight Networks Inc. has opened an electronic waste recycling facility in East Syracuse, N.Y.

The Liverpool, N.Y.-based wireless electronics networking company said in a news release the 12,000 sq.-ft. facility will provide free recycling of electronics, computers, cell phones, servers and other items for local businesses and residents.  The operation has room to expand, and the company hopes to add more facilities in the near future.

Highlight said all products collected are repurposed, reused or recycled.

The company currently operates one facility in New York that contracts nationally for refining and recycling projects. Highlight has recently expanded its business to include the repurposing, resale and recycling of networking and telecom hardware.
