You’ve heard the phrase “think outside the box”, but the City of Phoenix is asking you to “think outside the trash can”.

It’s a major effort to keep trash out of our landfills and find new ways to re-purpose it.

Each year, Phoenix produces one hundred million tons of trash. That’s enough to make seven trips to the moon and back.
