The product, powered by a 1,000-horsepower (hp) Caterpillar engine, can fill a 45-inch (in.) chip trailer in five to 10 minutes, according to the company, and is equipped with a feed wheel with a dual planetary hydraulic drive. The chipper also features a 48-in.-wide by 41-in.-high chipper opening and a 48-in. by 48-in. chipping drum furnished with a knife clamping system. The climate-controlled cab is protected by a tubular steel frame that tilts over into the infeed for transport.
