WasteExpo Relocates

Due to the damage to New Orleans by Hurricane Katrina, WasteExpo 2006 has been moved to the Las Vegas Convention Center. The exhibit floor will be open from Wednesday, April 5, through Friday, April 7. The conference program will begin on Tuesday, April 4. Primedia Business Exhibitions is working with GES Exhibition Services to design a new floorplan for the exhibit hall.

“While we hoped that New Orleans would be ready for us next year, and our hearts go out to its residents and our colleagues there, we are fortunate to be able to relocate to Las Vegas on short notice,” says Rita Ugianskis-Fishman, group show director for WasteExpo. “We will be working double time to create a show that will be equally strong to the one we were anticipating in New Orleans.”

WasteExpo 2007 will take place as originally scheduled: May 22-24, 2007, in Las Vegas.
