The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) has called for abstracts to be submitted for its 2008 international conference on thermal treatment technologies. The conference will be May 12-16, 2008 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Abstracts will be accepted until Sept. 28, 2007. Suggested topic areas include specific applications of thermal treatment technologies, operational issues, government and regulatory policies, hazardous waste combustor MACT rule, research and development, alternatives to incinerations, alternative energy and greenhouse gas reduction.
