EPA joins NFL for 2006 Pro Bowl recycling project

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Washington, is joining the National Football League to promote beverage container recycling at the 2006 Pro Bowl on Feb. 12 in Honolulu, Hawaii. According to the EPA, the organization is working with other agencies to support the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hawaii’s efforts in distributing recycling bags to patrons in the parking lot of Aloha Stadium. The Pro Bowl recycling project is part of the EPA’s ongoing efforts to further bottle and can recycling at recreational and special events across the country through its “Recycling on the Go” campaign.
