Republic Names Former Roadway CEO To Its Board

Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. — Republic Services, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., has announced that Michael Wickham, retired chairman and CEO of Roadway Corp., will serve on the firm’s Board of Directors. "We are very pleased that Mike has agreed to join our Board," said James E. O’Connor, Republic’s chairman and CEO, in a statement. "He brings with him an excellent set of financial skills and operational knowledge, combined with the experience of serving as the chairman and CEO of a multi-billion company that has many parallels with Republic."
