Republic Services, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has reported a net income of $87.2 million on revenues of $808 million for second-quarter 2007. The company reported a net income of $70.8 million on revenues of $780 for the same quarter in 2006.

For the year to date, the firm reported a net income of $141 million on revenues of $1.6 billion, compared to $135 million on revenues of $1.5 billion in 2006.
