Rumpke Acquires Assets from Republic

Rumpke Consolidated Cos. has purchased certain assets from Phoenix-based Republic Services in the Mansfield, Ohio, and Cleveland areas. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition includes the 300-acre Noble Road Landfill in Mansfield, the Mansfield Hauling District, the Richland County Recycling and Transfer Station, the Harvard Road Transfer Station in Cuyahoga County and a sales office for the region in Mansfield. The purchase also included more than 60 vehicles.

We are excited to have our new Mansfield team members on board,” said Andrew Rumpke, vice president of Rumpke, in a press release. “We also realize the importance of becoming active members of the communities we service. We hope to learn about the area from our employees and show our new neighbors that we are committed to providing excellent service and support.”
