The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) has extended the deadline to submit abstracts for its 15th Annual Landfill Symposium and Planning & Management Conference to Sept. 11.

SWANA is seeking presentations on greenhouse gas emissions, project case studies, the financial status of the solid waste industry, new technology, regulations and landfill engineering. The conference also will cover other topics, so SWANA is urging waste professionals to submit abstracts that don’t cover one of the above topics.

The show will be held on April 12-13 in Reno, Nev.
