Two affiliate organizations of the National Recycling Coalition (NRC) — the Illinois Recycling Association and the New Mexico Recycling Association — have announced their support of NRC’s proposed merger with Keep America Beautiful (KAB).

NRC members are allowed to vote on the merger from Aug. 10 to Aug. 26. A two-thirds majority is needed to approve the merger.

Other affiliate organizations that have voiced their support for the merger include the College and University Recycling Council, the Arizona Recycling Coalition, the Georgia Recycling Coalition, the Indiana Recycling Coalition, the Professional Recyclers of Pennsylvania, and State of Texas Alliance for Recycling.
