TransLoad America (TLA), South Orange, N.J., has announced the opening of Central Waste Inc. in Smith Township, Ohio. TLA officials say they expect to haul more than 2,000 tons of waste each day through the new 1,400-acre facility. TLA also donated $50,000 to the township for a sewer system upgrade.

“We are thrilled to be celebrating the opening of this state-of-the-art facility, which will help create revenues, and upon completion of our on-site rail infrastructure, additional jobs for the community,” said David Stoller, chairman and CEO, of TLA, in a press release.
