WASTEC Revises Five Industry Standards

The Washington-based Waste Equipment Technology Association (WASTEC) has revised five industry standards, which also have been approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The revisions range from safety standards for stationary compactor equipment to bailing equipment.

WASTEC is off to a great start in 2008 with these five newly approved standards,” said Gary Satterfield, executive vice president of WASTEC, in a press release. “ANSI standards are extremely important to our members because they make a statement that safety is a number one issue for the waste industry."
