Waste Industries Completes Three Acquisitions

Raleigh, N.C. — Waste Industries USA Inc. has purchased Piedmont-McKinney LLC, Foreman’s Sanitation Inc., and the assets of an eastern North Carolina subsidiary of Houston-based Waste Management Inc. The annual revenue produced from the three acquisitions will be more than $11.7 million, according to the company.

Piedmont-McKinney provides commercial service in the North Carolina cities of Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point. Foreman’s Sanitation provides subscription residential service in Douglas County, Ga., and Cobb County, Ga., both of which are part of the metro Atlanta area.

The assets purchased from the Waste Management subsidiary include two hauling operations and two transfer stations.
