Raleigh, N.C.-based Waste Industries USA has released its first-quarter (1Q) 2006 earnings, reporting revenues of $79.2 million with a net income of $3.4 million for the period. The results represented a 16 percent increase from 1Q 2005 during which the company reported revenues of $68.3 million and a $2.8 million net income. “We are pleased with our overall performance for the quarter,” said Waste Industries President and CEO Jim W.
