Advanced Disposal Opens Transfer Station in Alabama

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Advanced Disposal Services has opened its Linden Transfer Station in Linden, Ala. The facility accepts municipal solid waste and construction debris. Tires and batteries are not accepted.

Waste taken to the Linden Transfer Station will be disposed of in Advanced Disposal’s Turkey Trot Landfill in Washington County, Ala. “This addition will help grow our service footprint as well as make the waste stream in western Alabama more efficient and, thus, more cost-effective for residents and businesses,” said Dave Lavender, regional vice president for Advanced Disposal, in a press release.
