Washington, D.C. — The Environmental Industry Associations (EIA) is calling for nominations for its 2003 Drivers of the Year program. Drivers from the public and private sectors involved in solid waste hauling and recycling services in the United States and Canada are eligible. The nomination deadline is Dec. 31, 2002. Winners in several categories will be awarded $500, a commemorative plaque and other gifts to be presented at WasteExpo 2003, June 2-5 in New Orleans.
