Environment Chairman Dismisses Global Warming Fears

Leslie Harrison

Washington, D.C.-- Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., chairman of the Committee on Environment and Public Works, has stated that predictions of catastrophic global warming are baseless and should be rejected. According to Inhofe, debate over global warming is fueled by fear rather than science, and few facts show that measurable global warming has occurred during the past century. He also states that climate models predicting dramatic temperature increases during the next 100 years are flawed and should be re-examined.
