Wisconsin Governor Signs E-Waste Recycling Bill

Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle has signed into law a bill requiring manufacturers to arrange for the recycling and disposal of devices such as video displays, computers and printers.

“This bill represents significant progress on the collection, recycling and disposal of electronic devices,” said Governor Doyle in a press release. “I want to thank legislators for moving forward this important legislation, which was a key recommendation by the Governor’s Task Force on Global Warming.”
