Beginning May 1, Waste Management of Illinois Inc. became the new trash and landscape waste services provider for the city of Naperville.

Naperville provides a comprehensive waste program designed to reduce materials headed to landfills and ensure that all waste is disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner. Waste Management was selected as the city's new service provider in January.

As an additional environmental benefit, Waste Management will be using CNG trucks for Naperville's collection service, which are powered by compressed natural gas rather than diesel fuel, and produce lower emissions.
