SWANA Deputy Executive Director Scozzafava Leaves Association

The Solid Waste Association of North America’s (SWANA) deputy executive director, Lori Scozzafava, has left the association.

Scozzafava worked for the Silver Spring, Md.-based SWANA for 13 years, directing planning, budgeting and financial management functions of the association, according to a SWANA news release.

“Lori has been an excellent representative of SWANA in all capacities,” said John Skinner, SWANA executive director and CEO. “I especially appreciated her enthusiasm, innovation and integrity. She will be missed by staff and members throughout the organization.”

Scozzafava said she hopes to be available soon to take a new position within the industry. “I’m passionate about what I do and I see this as an opportunity to take my career in a new direction.”
