Allied Waste Reports Slight Q2 Decrease

Scottsdale, Ariz. — Allied Waste Industries Inc. has reported net income of $34 million for the second quarter of 2002, compared with net income of $35.1 million for the same quarter last year, and revenues of $1.40 billion, compared with revenues of $1.41 billion for the same quarter the previous year.
