Brisbane, Australia -- Transport Workers Union (TWU) garbage truck drivers in Brisbane, Australia, say they will refuse to empty trash bins where safety is a concern -- despite the Industrial Relations Commission order for the drivers to go back to work. According to TWU, there have been more than 60 incidents where trucks hit power lines since drivers began using new vehicles three months ago. Consequently, TWU says drivers will continue to strike until safety issues are addressed.
