Calif. Renewable Energy Gets Boost

Los Angeles — California Governor Gray Davis has signed two conservation bills designed to save more than 2,000 megawatts of electricity this summer. In addition to providing $500 million for energy efficiency initiatives, the bills include $105 million for renewable and other clean distributed generation projects.
