Casella Announces Strategic Restructuring

Rutland, Vt. — Casella Waste Systems has announced that it is taking restructuring, asset impairment and other non-recurring charges of approximately $112 million in its 2001 fiscal year fourth quarter. The company says it wants to refocus to create more stable and predictable financial performance in the future.
