China Refuses U.S. E-waste

Beijing –- According to the

Associated Press

, China sent back more than 400 tons of electronic waste (e-waste) to the United States last week. The waste, which included computers, office equipment, monitors, keyboards, copiers and TVs, is deemed harmful and banned from entering China. Chinese authorities did not know who had shipped the goods but say it originated from the United States.
