EPA Confirms New Deputy Administrator

Washington, D.C. — The U.S. Senate confirmed the nomination of Linda J. Fisher as deputy administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on May 24. Fisher now is the top managerial and policy assistant to EPA administrator Christine Todd Whitman.
