Federal Signal To Purchase Leach and Wittke

Oak Brook, Ill. — Federal Signal Corp. has announced it will buy the stock of Leach Co., Oshkosh, Wis., and Wittke Inc., Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Both acquisitions are scheduled for completion in September and October 2002, with combined annual revenues of approximately $130 million.
