Grants to Keep Carpet Out of Landfills

Dalton, Ga. –The Carpet America Recovery Effort (CARE), a campaign to reduce the amount of carpet in landfills, is requesting proposals for individual grants up to $50,000 in three categories: intermediate processing and end use; enhancement of collection; and research and development markets. The money will be awarded to proposals based on waste stream impact; probability of program success; planning and cost effectiveness; need; technology transfer; and markets.
