Gundle/SLT Posts Wider First Quarter Loss

Houston — Due to reduced spending by major waste management companies, liner manufacturer Gundle/SLT Environmental Inc. has posted a net first quarter 2001 loss of $2.8 million, or 25 cents per share. First quarter revenues fell 21 percent to $23.5 million, from $29.9 million one year ago.
