Washington, D.C. — Rep. Lynn N. Rivers, D-Mich., has introduced a House version of Sen. Jim Jeffords’, I-Vt., national bottle bill, which would impose a 10-cent deposit on recyclable beverage containers. Rivers' bill currently sits in the House Energy and Commerce Committee for review.
