IESI Corp. Reports Financial Results

Haltom City, Texas – IESI Corp. has reported that revenue for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2002, increased 17.7 percent to $56.7 million as compared to revenue of $48.2 million for the corresponding three-month period in 2001. Income from operations for the same three months was $3.9 million as compared with $3.7 million for the corresponding period in 2001. Earnings before income taxes, loss on the extinguishment of debt, loss on termination of interest rate swaps, interest expense, depreciation, depletion and amortization (EBITDA) for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2002 was $11.6 million, as compared with EBITDA of $10.6 million for the corresponding period in 2001.
