Stamford, Conn. — In cooperation with Keep America Beautiful Inc. (KAB), Dr. J. Winston Porter, president of the Waste Policy Center, Leesburg, Va., has produced a School Recycling Guide to help the nation’s schools do their part to increase recycling.

The guide is catered to students from middle school through junior college. It provides a series of fill-in-the-blank tables and instructions, allowing schools to develop their own recycling programs. Topics include assessment of potential recyclables in the school, identification of local markets for recyclables, and design of the actual recycling operations.

The School Recycling Guide is available from KAB for $7.50. To order a copy, call (203) 323-8987, fax to (203) 325-9199, or e-mail [email protected].
