LMOP Seeks Star Projects for Award

Washington D.C. – The EPA’s Landfill Methane Outreach Program (LMOP) is looking for local, state or regional organizations that qualify for its 2002 Partner Awards Program. Nominees must be received by Oct. 18 and must be LMOP Partners at the time of application. Organizations that meet the criteria for winning, such as by providing green power and other advanced LFGTE projects, will be presented with awards at the Sixth Annual LMOP Conference and Project Expo, Jan. 6-7, 2003, at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel in Washington D.C. Award categories include Industry Partner of the Year; Energy Partner of the Year; State Partner of the Year; Community Partner of the Year; and Project of the Year.
