NJEDA Announces Nine New Brownfields Grants

Trenton, N.J. — The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) has approved nine new state grants for municipal projects to investigate and reclaim environmentally contaminated Brownfields sites for business and residential development. This brings the 2001 mid-year total of municipal grants approved through July from the state's Hazardous Discharge Site Remediation Fund (HDSR) to 39 with a total value of more than $3.6 million.
