OSHA Nominee Stresses Balance to Cure Ergonomics Woes

Washington, D.C. „ John Henshaw, newly nomiated assistant labor secretary for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), made a statement Thursday stressing the need for an even balance between voluntary efforts and enforcement when dealing with ergonomics issues. More must be done through partnerships with companies and voluntary programs to prevent workplace injuries, he said.
