Pennsylvania DOT Starts New E-mail Service

Harrisburg, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has announced a new service that sends e-mails to residents when new permit applications such as those for landfills, incinerators and transfer stations are received for review. According to the DEP, this is the first service of its kind by any environmental agency in the country.
