Republic Services Announces Fiscal Results

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. — Republic Services Inc. has reported net income of $58.1 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2001, compared with net income of $59.2 million for the same quarter last year. Revenue was $576, compared with $533.5 million for the same quarter last year, and operating income was $111.8 million, compared with $115.9 million for the same quarter last year.
