Washington, D.C. – The U.S. Secretary of Labor, Elaine L. Chao, has announced the members of the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health (NACOSH). Nine newly appointed members will join three re-appointed members to advise the secretaries of Labor and Health and Human Services on safety and health programs. The committee members include representatives from the steel, firefighting, hazardous materials and public health industries as well as members of academia. Members serve one- or two-year terms.
