Austin — The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has awarded a four-year contract to Tuerff-Davis EnviroMedia Inc. for its "Don’t Mess with Texas" campaign, which targets the state’s worst litter offenders — males and females less than 24 years old. EnviroMedia also has proposed focusing on fast food trash in the next year, the most predominant form of litter on TxDOT’s highways.
