SWANA LFG Call for Papers Due in Early September

Silver Spring, Md. — The Solid Waste Association of North America’s (SWANA) 26th annual Landfill Gas (LFG) Symposium, to be held March 24-27, 2003 in Tampa, is closing in on its September 6 deadline for papers.

Papers may be submitted on the following topics: landfill gas utilization; municipal LFG utilization case studies; LFG, leachate and groundwater interactions; LFG monitoring and modeling; innovative designs for collection systems; LFG treatment; rules and regulations; field measurement of LFG emissions; turbines and microturbines; and siloxane detection and treatment.
