Westport, Conn.-based Terex Corp. has received approval from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and the European Commission to acquire Demag Mobile Cranes GmbH & Co. KG, Zweibrücken, Germany.

Raleigh, N.C.-based Waste Industries USA Inc. has reported second quarter 2002 revenues of $63.6 million, compared with revenues of $64.5 million for the same quarter last year. Net income was $14 million, compared with net income of $14.6 million for the same quarter last year.
Republic Services Inc., Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., has reported second quarter 2002 net income of $61 million, compared with net income of $58.1 million for the same quarter last year. Revenues were $598.2 million, compared with revenues of $576 million for the same quarter last year.
Cummins Inc., Columbus, Ind., has reported second quarter 2002 earnings of $13 million on sales of $1.46 billion, compared with a loss of $82 million on sales of $1.46 for the same quarter last year.
Ag-Bag International Ltd., Warrenton, Ore., has reported second quarter 2002 net sales of $9.9 million, compared with net sales of $10.2 million for the same quarter last year, and net income of $542,010, compared with net income of $460,597 for the same quarter last year.
