Waste Connections Set to Add Three Collection Companies to its Fold

Folsom, Calif. -- Waste Connections anticipates the completion of three acquisitions by the second quarter or later. The acquisitions include the Green Team, San Jose, Calif., a franchise collection and recycling company; Green Waste, Tehema, Calif., a franchise collection and landfill operation; and an unnamed franchise collection company in Oregon. The companies bring in an estimated $32 million of annualized revenue. Waste Connections reported 2002 revenue of $498.7 million.
