WasteExpo 2002 By the Numbers

Las Vegas — WasteExpo 2002, held May 21-23, attracted 11,700 participants, a 2 percent increase from 2001. Of the 425 exhibitors, 100 were new this year.

New pavilions on the WasteExpo 2002 exhibit floor included Truck Components and Supplies, sponsored by Primedia’s Fleet Owner magazine. Total buyer participation also increased by 10 percent over last year's numbers.

Overall, exhibitors were pleased with the quantity and quality of the 2002 event, according to Show Director Rita Ugianskis.
