Zimmer America has formed a new company for recycling machinery, Zimmer America Recycling Solutions.

"The growing demand for our recycling machinery and the distinctiveness of the recycling industry made it vital to form this new company," said Roland Zimmer, CEO of ZARS-USA LLC, of which Zimmer America is a division. The company is based in Spartanburg, S.C.

Zimmer America Recycling Solutions provides technology solutions for material recovery facilities (MRFs), polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle washing and sorting, and extrusion machinery. The company is the exclusive North American sales representative for Stadler, STF Group (both located in Germany), ARTEC (Austria), Cofit (Italy) and DB Technologies (the Netherlands).

Zimmer America provides comprehensive project support, sources the proper machinery, provides turn-key installation and start-up, as well as after-sales services and spare parts.
