Stop On By
Waste Age and its partners have two exciting new products on the horizon, products that are going to greatly improve your ability to stay on top of the solid waste industry and to improve your operations.
If you are reading this column at the 2011 WasteExpo Dallas, I want to urge you stop by Waste Age’s booth (it’s number 3825) to see a demonstration of two exciting new projects.
Waste360.com is a new website that merges the resources of Penton Media’s six waste properties, including Waste Age and WasteExpo. This site will become the go-to source for waste industry news and analysis, videos, online training and education, and event information and registration. In addition to serving solid waste industry professionals, the site will provide information to large-scale waste generators that are seeking to implement waste sustainability initiatives and are looking to manage their waste streams in the most effective way possible. Waste360 also will seek to serve members of the general public who are seeking reliable information about recycling, sustainability practices and other waste services.
In our WasteExpo booth, we also will be unveiling auctions.waste360.com, a nationwide, used-waste-equipment auction website. The site is a partnership with AssetNation, a leading online auction provider that has more than 100,000 active buyers in more than 100 countries. We believe this site will become your top venue for selling and buying used waste equipment.
And if you’re reading this but you’re not at WasteExpo, I urge you to visit these two sites today. After doing so, send us your thoughts, comments and suggestions. My contact information is below.
