Jupiter, Fla., Votes to Keep Waste Management as Hauler
The Town Council has rejected Advanced Disposal’s bid proposal and voted unanimously to keep Waste Management as the town’s hauler.
In November 2016, the Town of Jupiter, Fla., considered its hauler options and decided to keep its current hauler Waste Management. This decision sparked a debate with Advanced Disposal Services, which filed a bid protest asking the Town of Jupiter to void its contract with Waste Management and award the contract to Advanced Disposal.
Now, after months of consideration, the Town Council has rejected Advanced Disposal’s bid proposal and voted unanimously to keep Waste Management as the town’s hauler.
