Randolph, N.J., Town Council Awards Blue Diamond Disposal with Waste and Recycling Contract

The Randolph, N.J., Town Council has awarded Blue Diamond Disposal with a five-year solid waste and recycling collection contract, which allows both trash and recycling to be collected on the same day. While recycling will continue to be collected on the second and fourth weeks of the month, the recycling pickups will now be scheduled on the same day as trash pickups starting in 2017.

The Township Council awarded a five-year contract to Blue Diamond Disposal for solid waste and recycling collection. This new contract allows for trash and recycling to be collected on the same day.

The township will provide a new trash collection schedule at the beginning of the year. Recycling will continue to be collected on the second and fourth weeks of the month, but will now be on the same day of the week as normal trash pickup.

“Garbage and recycling will be collected on the same day,” explained Township Manager Stephen Mountain, “further streamlining the process for our residents.”
