Waste Management has announced the opening of its new Recycling Sun facility in Davie, Fla. The 15-acre, $14 million facility will recycle a mix of construction and demolition debris, household bulk waste and yard waste and process approximately 125 tons per hour.
In addition, the facility will increase recycling opportunities in the area and provide 32 jobs.

On May 9, Waste Management — a nationwide waste management company — opened its new Recycling Sun facility. The 15-acre center which cost $14 million will recycle a mix of construction and demolition debris, household bulk waste and yard waste according to the company. The state-of-the-art facility will increase recycling opportunities throughout the county by recovering more debris and can process approximately 125 tons per hour on its sort line.
